As Hajizadeh is living away from Iran, nostalgic feelings haunt him time and again. It makes him reconstruct memories, failures, and realities. Reality is coming to fruition in his analytical mind and is portrayed in the form of an intimate family atmosphere, portrait of politicians, or military establishment, in a kitschy baroque style. Characters of his paintings, reasonable or ridiculous, untidy or pensive, are by no means violent. Characters of his Human Comedyare never worried. Despite living a different life, they are not estranged by their time.
Playfully and dramatically, Hajizadeh reminds his audience that it is extremely difficult to run away from oneself.
